Second year student at MANIT Bhopal committs suicide

On 15th November 2008 one of the second year bioinformatics engineering student of MANIT Bhopal Rahul Pathak committed suicide. Initially he and two other students from mechanical engineering were barred from appearing in the end semester exams because of their involvement in ragging.
Story started when 3 students of second year were caught ragging first year student at college campus. Strict actions were taken against them and they were barred from giving their third semester final examinations. After lot of apologies and fines these students were given verbal assurance from director of the college that they will be allowed to appear in their examination.
These students were given no objection certificates from the Dean of the college and even from first year students for appearing in the examinations. During all these actions parents of Rahul were called up from Nagaland to Bhopal and their son was verbally abused in front of them. Torture doesn’t ends here as the mechanical engineering students were give permission from their respective head of department for appearing in the examinations while Rahul was barred from examination by HOD of Bioinformatics department.
All this humiliation and contradictory steps from senior authority further pushed Rahul to take this drastic step and end his life.
When students of college protested against authority for their double standard, they were lathicharged by the police in which many students suffered severe head injuries, reason for this action given by police was that students threw stones at them and to control students they lathicharged them. Some of the students were arrested and put behind the bars.
This incident raises some very important questions which are required to be answered by authorities of the college. These questions are-:
1. Who allowed police to enter the college premises as only army is entitled to do so??
2. Why only Rahul was barred from examination??
3. Who is responsible for death of Rahul??
4. Who prompted Rahul to take such an action??
A clear explanation is surely required from the college authorities.
Its the corrupt college authorities who forced him into this drastic decision. The college has a political background backed by that asshole sanjeev saxena of BSP party hu is for BSP in the upcoming elections. He has illegal authority over the college. This is high level corruption we can see. No justice has been shown for the student hu commited suicide. Its not just this student but many face this problem from the college director and other fuckin corrupt faculty.

To allow local police into yhe institute premises,it indicate the administrative control of the managment over the students.Rahul was prevented to appeare in the exam while other two students were allow for the examination are clearly indication of non cordination of the faculties and Institutional haed. Rahul probebly thaught that he is only punisable and has no future.may his soul rest in peace.
