After acceptting the plea of the central government various states have reduced the prices of petrol.Diesel and LPG according to their state revenues.all the states including congress governed ,bjp governed and the left governed states are providing subsidies to their people.
Petrolium minister murli deora asked chief ministers of around 30 states to aleast remove incremental taxes to ease the burden of international price hike.
Delhi government giving a big relief to its lpg users redused the price of lpg from 50 rs to 10 rs..Delhi reduced petol by 1 rupee and the diesel was reduded by 50 paise.
Andhra government which has highest sales tax of 33 percent and 22.25 percent on diesel .all such states have to cut their taxes to maintain the price in control.
Left parties called for a band in all left ruled states .the life in these states very greatly affected by the band.
PM has also asked the states to cut the sales tax. he has stated that the central government public companies and the consumers are bearing their burden .so the state government must also provide their share of help.
