EBay Inc is planning to allow software to work and contribute in the largest e commerce portal giving publicity to social networking site Face book.It will a chance to independent develpoers to feature their software in eBay.
It is goin to help the developers to earn more money which is ultimate aim, e Bay senior director of Platform stated in an interview. facebook is attracting anumber of people and thousands of application have been been developed for this.
Company says that in this time its better to alllow developers to develop and add their features other then developing and adding by ourself.It will bring buyers and sellers nearer.
This project is termed as project echo.The outside programs will be able to access the data by the eBay. And the customers will also get a broader range on auction. Around quarter of the eBay auctions are due to the software programs which has been developed by the outside programers.
