“Indian middle class consist of about 35 crores which is more than the total population of America and because of the growing standard among these people there is the rise in the prices of the various commodities.” Above statement was given by the American president George Bush on an international Tv .It has been an old strategy of USA to put the whole blame on others without taking the responsibility on themselves. There has been some changes in the standard of living of people of India specially middle class but how could we forget that around 25% of Indian population is living below poverty line and is impossible for them to earn daily a living for them and they cant be foody also if they are not even able to earn a daily bread . So before making such king of statement he would have also thaught about these people. And as far as the rise in the prices of foodgrains is concerned its not just because of India but to an extent America is responsible for such crisis facing India . Because of America’s economy’s stagnation the investment in Indian stock market fell and because of which thousands of investors lost their funds . Its because of their encouragement for using more bio fuels ,to save their own petroleum reserves the world is facing crude oil crisis which is considered as the main source of transportation and through which various imports are done and the crisis have led to the rise in prices of these products the other products prises are rising. Bio fuels which is made up of 240 kgs of corn ,can be used as a meal for a normal person for 3 years and they are using this product for making bio fules and ultimately blaming Indians and saying theme foody.And their was survey done before 2 years by an American agency in which it was reported that Americans consumes thrice what the Indians do . Still president thinks that we Indians are responsible for food crisis. Not only this on the instructions of the USA government the IMF and World Bank have reduced their monetory policies for India . So despite of so many facts and reasons how could US president blame Indians.
