sujoy_guhaFinally one of the Indian scientist Dr Sujoy K Guha  has done what other scientists were trying for so many years.Dr Sujoy K Guha with his team has made a male contraceptive which can prevent unwanted pregnancy of women.A biomedical engineer, Guha was born in Patna in 1939. He did his graduation and masters in electrical engineering from IIT Kharagpur.

Name of this project is RISUG (Reversible Inhibition of Sperm under Guidance) , the sucess of this research took almost 30 years.

The credit goes to Indian biomedical engineer Dr Sujoy K Guha and his group at the Indian Institute of Technology-Kharagpur, his team spread across India, members at the ministries of health and family welfare, and researchers at the Indian Council for Medical Research for preparing this male contraceptive.
