How to find out which sites links to your site/blog

If you are a blogger or maintains a site which is relatively new.So you must be curios about the users and would like know that how many bloggers or sites provides your website links on their blog or site.
This is very simple to find out by the use of search engine.Not specifically Google,you can do this by using Yahoo search engine also.For doing this just type link:www.yoursite.com in Google and If you want to do this in Yahoo then type linkdomain:www.yoursite.com justreplace yoursite with the name of your website or blog.
And if you don't want to do this again and again and want to remain updated as any one provides the link for your site.Then follow these steps
1. Go to Google Alerts (www.google.com/alerts) 2. In the search term field, give (link:www.yoursite.com) 3. In the type field, select “Web” 4. In the “How often” field, select “As it happens” 5. In the email field, give in your email.
Now you will get an email from Google alerts as someone provides a link to your site.
